Q's About Printed Cards
Of course! We put in any text that you want, the text in the images are just examples. Once you give us your final wording we put it into the invitations and make sure that everything fits well and looks great.
We can set our designs in several languages, free of charge. The easiest ones are French, Spanish, Italian, German, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, and Dutch. Unfortunately some languages that contain special characters or accents are not possible for us.
You can change colors and fonts in all wedding stationery, but not in regular cards. For wedding stationery, you can choose up to three colors from our color chart free of charge, or order a custom color for $25. Font changes is another customization, and you can choose from our font list or from any of our invitations. Font changes are a customization fee of $25 per card.
No—we only input your text and colors after the order is placed, because that's where the work comes in. Every card we create for our customers is individually typeset by a professional designer to make sure that everything looks its best.
Absolutely—you can use any of the designs for any invitation you want. Just let us know the wording you would like to use.
For wedding stationery we offer much more personal attention, and multiple revisions. There are free color changes, customization options, advice on color options and wording, and larger sizes. We know that a wedding can be the biggest, most important celebration of one's life, and we want to give it true personalized service.
Unfortunately we cannot sell an image separately from the invitation because there is always the possibility that someone could use it for their own design, and then resell it. We know almost nobody would do that, but we still have to be careful.
We include a free revision with each regular order and up to two free revisions for all wedding stationery orders. After that we have to charge a fee of $20 for each additional revision.
If you decide for any reason that you do not want your stationery, you can cancel your order within two business days for a full refund, minus a $15 processing fee. If you decide to cancel your order after receiving your first proof (but before printing) we can refund you the full amount minus a $100 design and processing fee. But after you’ve approved your final proofs we cannot offer a refund, as your cards will already be in process. Rush orders cannot be refunded as we start the process immediately!
At this time we are not taking on any custom orders, sorry!
Q's About Print-Ready Files
It is a PDF file that can be taken to a printer and used to create your stationery. PDF stands for Portable Document Format—it is a type of file created by Adobe Systems that any computer can open and print, whether PC or Mac.
It takes 3-5 business days from the time we receive payment and wording to the time we send you your first emailed proof. If there are any revisions we are able to get it back to you within 24 to 48 hours. After that it just takes a day to create the final print-ready PDF!
We have a rush service option for $50 that guarantees you your first proofs one business day after we receive your order and wording. Any revisions after that also only take one business day. You can have your printable files in as little as two days! Just go to your cart and click the bottom link to Rush Service.
You can print at home, at a copy shop, with a professional print shop, an online service, or some designs can even be done in letterpress. For more information on printing methods you can go here.
First you should test your inkjet printer on heavy weight (i.e. thick) paper to see if you like your printer's quality. We find inkjets to be the best of the home printers—laser printers often can't handle thick paper and aren't very good with matte paper. Download our color chart and one of our sample PDF's from the Printing Options section and test it out.
Invitations look best on heavier paper, so you should get the heaviest paper your printer can handle. We recommend the "cover" or "80lb" paper, or even better paper that's over 80lb (but only some printeres can handle that).
Look into printing at a copy shop or printing with an online company. Or, if you've been contemplating buying yourself a color printer, consider an Epson or Canon photo printer—the better ones start at around $160.
See our description of home printing in our Printing Options section for how to print and cut out the invitations yourself, or find out rates for cutting at a copy shop (always test them out first for accuracy before committing).
All computer screens and printers are different so colors you see on-screen may not exactly match what you print out. When you receive your first proof test it out on your printer—if the colors don't look right let us know, and we will try to tweak the colors for your final PDF, though it may not be possible to exactly match your printouts with what you see on-screen.
Q's About Printed Cards
Wedding invitations at 5" x 7" can be as low as $1.64 per card depending on how many your order and the paper you choose. Regular cards that are 4.625" x 6.25" can be as low as $1. You can download a PDF chart of our prices here. To give you a rough estimate, 100 wedding invitations and envelopes + 100 rsvp's and envelopes = $372, including all design fees.
For printed cards fill out our inquiry form so we can send you a more exact quote. When you are ready to place your order we will send you an invoice with a direct link to payment. We accept all major credit cards as well as Paypal accounts.
It varies, but the average time between placing an order and your receiving your cards is 2-4 weeks. It takes 3-5 days from the time we receive payment and wording to the time we send you your first PDF proof. If there are any revisions, we are able to get it back to you within 24 to 48 hours. Once the proofs are approved it is 48 to 72 hours for printing and processing, and then shipping time (which of course depends on which method you’ve chosen).

All computer monitors show colors differently, so the printed colors may be a little different from what you see onscreen. If you want to be absolutely sure of what your colors will look like you can order our sample pack.

Upon final approval of your proofs we cannot accept returns due to any and all errors (such as misspelled words etc.). By approving your final proof you accept responsibility for the information and layout as shown. Of course if we make a mistake after your final approved proof, we will correct and reprint free of charge.
